I served as a leader in Florida. Here we volunteered at an amusement park that served children and families of those chronically ill. I was able to interact and make so many different people happy giving my time to something greater than myself.
Teamed on emerge and led a group on how they can emerge within themselves.
This impact was served through my internship with the Juvenile Detention Center, Gardner Betts. Here I served as a mentor both in a unit with a group of youth and 1:1 with my own mentee assigned to me. I worked to help them see a different future for themselves and validate their lives and who they are before their actions.
Served my community planting flowers and picking up debris near equity hall.
Here I volunteered in disaster relief in Puerto, Rico. I had no phone which allowed me to be more in tune with my work as well as the people I met, truly a life changing experience.
Teamed on emerge and helped others feel a sense on belonging.
Helped my community planting beautiful trees.
