On Monday, July 21st, my team and I organized the Beach Cleanup event in Dangriga, Belize. My team and community members gathered to clean trash, debris, and sargassum off the main beach of the town. It was impactful to see how much work can be done when people come together. We picked up almost 50 bags of trash.
Wet and slippery landscape, but still a great day!
A lovely day to volunteer-especially with the lower temperatures and cloudy weather!

I love the freedom and flexibility that this volunteer opportunity provides. It also allows for being outdoors and having some physical activity while cleaning up the area. It feels great to know that I cleaned a good stretch of Fayetteville.
