Today, Ben and I has another good meeting! We met up at Hill Coffee for breakfast and he tried a Chia Latte for the first time. We hung out there and then decided we wanted to go on a walk. I wanted to take advantage of the nice fall weather which he was up for. It was a perfect, aesthetic, peaceful day on campus this morning. Ben and I had to stop at the fountain in front of Old Main and take in the scenery. We sat and listened to some music and just enjoyed the time that we had.
Mac and I had a great time yesterday getting to know each other more. I really enjoyed getting to hear about her experiences while living on campus, as well as sharing mine. One of my favorite parts about living here is the 24/7 theatrics around campus and being able to see her perspective made it way more humorous. One thing that I learned about Mac is that she has so much confidence and it is so inspiring. Her ability to speak and perform in front of others is something that I can only aspire to achieve. I am looking forward to seeing her again, and hopefully when she walks across the stage next spring!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting virtually with an awesome EMPOWER member! She was so insightful into the world of Taylor Swift and taught me so much. I loved being able to share my passion with music with someone who is just as interested. I have never met anyone who talks at the same speed as me (100mph) which made me feel so comfortable and like we were on the same wave length. We also had share pictures of our animals with each other, because well duh. I loved being able to show off my new cat and talk about our experiences with pets. I'm looking forward to meeting with her again!
