Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities with Miami Dade County Parks and Recreation Department

My group members and I helped clean up the trash around the coast of black point park amongst other volunteers. We each had buckets and were instructed to pick up as much as possible, the group of volunteers collectively gathered roughly 1,200 pounds in trash ranging from glass and plastic to planks of wood, cigarettes, fishing line, and a tire.
