This tax season, I volunteered with AARP Tax Aide Foundation in Greensboro, North Carolina, preparing tax returns for low income, single income, and elderly individuals. Through AARP, I earned my IRS Advanced Tax Preparation Certification and became the youngest volunteer at my site. I take pride in helping clients understand their tax situations and educating them on using tax credits to responsibly lower their adjusted gross income.

During this service event, I paddled around the edge of the lake, collecting trash from both the water and the land in a kayak.
