I can always appreciate the semester meetings with the special scholarship team. It was a very organized collection of all the update that we need going into next school year. In addition, the team spoke on guidelines that might change in the upcoming year and where the best places to communicate as students are like group me and scholarship email for personal purposes.

I participated in C.A.B interest meeting where we went over club positions and their importance for upcoming members. The team also set up interactive games and scenarios to better explain what role does what. It was very fun being a leader in these activities and allowed some of the prospect member to play our roles for the sessions.

I was one of C.A.B's volunteers for the meal packing event. We collaborated with the student research club and the volunteer club to pack and organize ingredients for a homeless shelter in DC. I had a lot of fun being able to work with other clubs and really enjoyed controlling the music with some of the other students.

I attended the W.O.W workshop: show me the money, focused on the importance of scholarships and grants. The presenters did a great job in presenting the tools and sites to get legit scholarships. The scholarship that stuck with me was the Jack Kent Cooke scholarship for transfers.

This was another session with tacos for tutors with wow and I work on java with a tutor and that was impactful to the rest of my semester in this class. I had some assistance with my english assignment from some of the students at my table. The food was also really good this day.

I attended the tacos for tutors session with W.O.W and I liked the work environment that was provided. I was able to work on math and java and I was able to help someone else with their math work as well. I was also at a table with a nice group of ladies as well and they were great at sharing Ideas.

I volunteered in C.A.B valentines day paint and sip and assisted with organizing and handing out materials. In addition, I had the opportunity to create my own painting and helped others with theirs.

This session was important to attend because it helps the students in recovery remember the guidelines the program. In addition the coordinators were very clear and kept their presentation very organized.

I was one of the volunteer leaders for C.A.B's winter kickback/ owl mic night. we were able to get the event up and running in 2 hours where we had different stations like the card making station and the cookie decoration contest. In addition we collaborated with the gardening club and they had their own station as well. The end of the evening consisted of lots of performances and fun from our own student body.

I appreciated the info session ! The advisors were clear with answering questions and really organized with the information they presented. They spent the time going over how to maintain our scholarship and what it will look like for next year, in addition, there was time to go over how to use give pulse.
