In this mini-session, we discussed how emotional wellness affects your productivity, relationships and overall health. Key points I took away from this sessions was the issue of miscommunication in relationships (of all kinds), ways in dealing with heartbreak, and the discussion of solving people's issues before one's own. Overall, an informative session on mental health and plan to apply what I learned to current situations.
Helped distributing snack bags to fellow PGCC students. Wore PGCC apparel to pop out and show some school spirit.
Prepared snack bags for distribution for the following Monday. Helped portion each bag when supply was low.
In this event, I distributed "I Love PGGC" shirts to new students with Ms. Kim, Ms. McIntosh, and fellow colleagues. We interacted with families and watched as the Hootie costume was routinely switched between two students. Great event.
In this training Mr. Elio and Ms. Chantia explained changes coming to GivePulse and how to correctly share hours to with SSP. What I took away from the session was to triple-check that I'm sharing my hours with SSP and insight into how coordinators confirm students' hours.
In this event, we reviewed the requirements in keeping our scholarships along with new changes coming to GivePulse. One thing that I look forward in seeing from SSP plans is the "mini" sessions that will educate the students a bit with mental health, financial and general personal development.
We cleaned the CAB office. Listened to latino music. It was great
This would be the first of the two days I volunteered in cleaning up the Campus Activities Board office. We cleaned out compartments, found never-before-used supplies, and learned a boot of history of the organization. All-in-all, it was a productive day filled with fun.
