I loved doing this! everyone was so kind and we learned so much about Appleseed farm and what they do for the community!!

I hade so much fun serving at the Potters House Fundraiser!!! I helped serve drinks during the event then helped tear everything down! Everyone was so happy and kind!! I also loved hearing about everything Potters House is doing in the community!!! Will definitely volunteer next year!

I had so much fun doing this and being able to give back!! We need to talk about menstrual health more!

This morning at CFE I helped get everything ready for Christmas by decorating the space and adding little festive touches. I wrapped ribbon around the poles to make them look bright and cheerful, and I helped hang stockings to bring in that cozy holiday feeling. It was a small job, but it made the whole place feel warm and welcoming. I also was able to talk to the clients one last time! I will definitely be back next semester!

Today at the CFE I helped with arts and crafts as well as coloring! I also helped make an ornament for Victoria’s tree at home. I also watched the last part of The Polar Express (which is my favorite Christmas movie) and we also watched Frosty the Snowman! I am sad that our time is coming to an end but I know I will continue to volunteer ASN in the future.

I had so much fun setting up for the ASN Funk Festival! We set up tables, put the speciality drinks in frames, and helped put table centerpieces on the tables. We had to make a bigger dance floor so we had to move tables around. I also helped make a balloon arch which ended up looking really cool! Everyone was so sweet and kept saying how much they appreciated me being there!

Today at the CFE I was able to meet everyone for the first time! I was then showed a cool project someone had built, and asked him how he did it. Then we went and did a puzzle, played a game, colored, and watched some scooby doo. I walked around with some new friends and talked with them a little bit. We looked at a magazine to figure out what they wanted for Christmas!

I had so much fun at this event! I spent time setting up by hanging streamers, setting down a blanket to act like grass, taped balloons to my car, and setting out paper poppies. It was so fun to hand out candy to all the people. I loved seeing everyone’s costumes and everyone else’s trunks!! It was also fun to see the hayride and bonfire they set up.

I finished making everything that I will need for trunk or treat! I made signs for the different things at oz, the emerald city, the yellow brick road, and the poppy’s I will use!! I am so excited to see everything put together! I’m also excited to see the kids in all their costumes! I cannot wait to serve this community!

I am so excited!!! I went to Walmart and got some supplies to start doing posters and some decorations! I made 2 posters today and ordered a string of streamers for the rainbow!!! I am going to make the emerald castle out of old toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls as well to repurpose them! I so excited to watch this all come together!
