Participating in the street cleanup with Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority was a meaningful experience because it allowed me to give back to the community while connecting with other nursing students. During the cleanup, I had the opportunity to help remove trash and improve the appearance of the area, which reminded me that small acts of service can make a positive difference in the community.

One of the most valuable parts of the experience was being able to talk with nursing students who are also experiencing the challenges of nursing school. We were able to share our experiences, encourage one another, and discuss some of the struggles and accomplishments that come with being a nursing student. It was reassuring to connect with people who understand the demands of nursing school firsthand.

Overall, this experience reminded me of the importance of community service, teamwork, and building relationships with others in the nursing profession. I enjoyed being able to serve my community while also connecting with fellow nursing students who are on a similar journey. It encouraged me to continue looking for opportunities to serve others and build connections within the nursing community.

I had the opportunity to participate in an after-school program where I engaged with middle school students through interactive activities and community outreach. As part of this initiative, I helped create hygiene bags filled with essential personal care items and distributed them to the students. This experience allowed me to give back to the community, promote personal hygiene, and make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

I went to goodwill, were I helped fold and restock clothes that were donated !

The weekend after thanksgiving, I had the honor to go to Family Worship center 2 hours a day to help build holiday baskets for local shelters !

Making sandwiches for people in. need was such a great experience !

I had the opportunity to create a video in recognition of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month alongside fellow executive board members. We filmed the video on the Academic Quad to help raise awareness, encourage community involvement, and highlight the importance of supporting individuals and families experiencing hunger and homelessness.
