The small group and I tackled the growing Ardesia population in the nature preserve with tools (Polarbears and gloves) and hard work. We took down a considerable amount of small and large trees, clearing out yet another patch of space in the preserve thanks to Natalia's instructions and great coordination.
The Treemendous staff were very well organized in delegating students to perform various tasks. I enjoyed working with my fellow students, uprooting various invasive species such as Burma grass and Oyster plants, and photographed various insects that I observed along the way.
We cleared out invasive species of plants in the nature preserve, as well as chopped apart wood to be easily organized into piles.
