I volunteered with Prime Evolution Group to help them create a website for their non-profit organization. They needed a fresh set of eyes to capture what they wanted the website to look like, explain what their mission statement was, and showcase what they have done so far. They've hosted successful events like celebrity basketball games, kickball tournaments, and they have also ventured into public speaking. We worked solely through virtual meetings, and I received feedback from them as we went along. I will continue to help Ms. Lynch and Mr. Don with their endeavours, and I'm very grateful for the opportunity to make their vision come to life!

Throughout December, I had the opportunity to become acquainted with volunteering at the Red Cross. I was educated on the fact that more black citizens must realize that sickle cell anemia disproportionately affects the black community, and the more we give our blood, the more we can help our people. I met so many individuals who were willing to give their blood for a bigger cause, and so many individuals who work tirelessly to make these blood drives happen. I love volunteering with the Red Cross and plan to continue to volunteer there.

We helped collect signage and water bottles, pack up banners, collect boxes, fold up tables, and put items into the uhaul truck.

Lots of people showed support as we cleaned up the streets!
