Group bagged produce. Boxed produce, paper and hygiene product to deliver to the community. Bagged assorted meat products and boxed them for delivery. Finished the time sweeping warehouse.

Worked with a group to unbox food staples from Church of Christ disaster relief. Sorted food and boxed an assortment of food product weighing approximately 15# to be given out in the community. Did not complete all pallets. Worked well together with the rest of workers.
Additional volunteers worked on boxing hygiene and paper goods today as well.

Volunteered on 4/9/2024. I worked with a variety of people. We sorted through boxes of pastries and baked goods. We had to look for products with missing ingredient labels. You don’t stop to think about the work that goes into what needs to be done. Every item needs to have that ingredient list and each box labeled as to what is in it and the date it was distributed to the community.

Experience went well. Leaders gave clear instructions and teams worked well together.
