At this event, I had the privilege of strengthening bonds with my cohort while bringing comfort and compassion to women and children in hospitals who may not always feel supported or loved.
At this event, I was able to gain valuable information surrounding actions of my culture and how others are impacted. I was also able to donate several items and provide hygiene products for those who are without it.
While volunteering at assisted living, I was able to engage in games with the residents, visit their memory core facilities for seniors with Alzheimer’s, and assist staff members in unloading their storage to prepare for the Christmas season with decorations. I enjoyed this service activity and I will be participating again.
I was able to give back to my community by ensuring that those in need have several hygienic items to fulfill their needs.
