Judging high school students at the research fair was a rewarding experience that reminded me of my own journey in science. I saw both curiosity and potential in their projects, and providing constructive feedback helped boost their confidence. This experience reinforced my appreciation for mentorship and the importance of nurturing the next generation of researchers.
The walk from the amphitheater near Reddix Hall to the Music Building and back was a quick, enjoyable stroll that added to the vibrant atmosphere. The activity was both fun and purposeful, successfully creating awareness while fostering a sense of community around important research topics. It was rewarding to see students express their ideas and passions in such a creative way.
I volunteered at the Ergon 5k run. I assisted in ushering the cars to the parking lot and also cheering for the participants involved in the race.
Distributed water to the runners.
