Discuss the new framework that is DMSI becoming Strive and what changes and new opportunities It brings. Connected with my fellow DMSI members regarding their summer experience and GPA goal for the fall semester.

Extremely informative regarding future expectations/plans. Gained insight on Book Scholarship money for Summer Semester + changes occurring next Fall Semester.

Attended workshops where I sat and listened to industry professionals regarding professional image and staying active as well as up to date with evolving technologies. Sat down and had brunch with fellow DMSI members and conversed among each other the experience. All in all, truly eventful and fun event that I attended.

Delve deep into the different practices & techniques used to solve or break down math problems. Participated in a brief math competition solving multiplication of 9s and won A Target Gift card. Reviewed techniques such as "Magic Square" and "Hexagon Seven" to find patterns of sum 15 and irrational quotients of 7.

Spoke about what it means to have an healthy relationship platonically as well as emotionally. Establishing boundaries through understanding of self-worth. Forming meaningful relationships with peers through consistency and intentionality.

During this event we practiced skills such as elevator pitch and public speaking. We indulged in conversation regarding what it means to own a business and increase value. Lastly, we briefly talked about building better habits that will inevitably turn to positive routines.

Received insight on expectations, advising tools, and semester diagnostics. Also discovered the difference between FX, N/A and W. I hope to select courses more diligently and attentively and to communicate more vocally with my advisor with my steps necessary for graduation.

This event gave immense insight on the expectations as well as requirement necessary to participate in the upcoming DMSI 5 year plan event. Additionally, I had to chance to stand and speak on my short as well as long term goals and what I envision the best version of myself to be.
