I honestly enjoyed it so much. Being out, doing a service to our animals. Getting to learn about the different species and seeing the wonderful people apart of this identify the birds (that were unfortunately found) was super cool and interesting. You can really tell they care and are genuinely interested. I wish I got to attend more when it first started! Hopefully during spring migration this will be possible as well! Overall awesome!

Today we got to attend a training circle at Canine Connections! It was lots of fun and gave us so much experience working through different exercises, like block work, distraction work, polite greetings, settling, etc. Was very happy to see Sydney and Whitaker again. They always have the best advice when working with these pups!

Mount Sequoyah was a nice experience. We got a tour of the mountain and met one of the artists who were staying in the lodges. My task was to organize and sort historical documents in order to save newspaper clippings, certificates, and programs for their upcoming Mount Sequoyah museum that is currently in the works. It was cool to see documents from 1998-2002 and the events that took place to make the Mountain what it is today!

I puppy sat Koi! He is such a goofy guy. I love seeing his zoomies.

Today’s training circle was very informative!! We worked on distraction work, proper stair walking, and working on training the dogs to not eat off of the floor for safety purposes.

Today’s training circle was super enjoyable. I learned a lot about why we practice certain tasks with our dogs and how that can be helpful to their future owners!

Had so much fun during our grooming training circle!!

Watching Nordic was such a wonderful experience. He was a great listener and helped me learn many things for the future experience of puppy raising!
