I enjoyed attending the Introduction to Crocheting class taught by Kera. She was very sweet and helpful as she taught attendees the basics of how to start crocheting, such as making a knot with your yarn and creating a chain stitch. This introductory class also helped raise awareness about the hunger challenge, which aims to combat food insecurity on campus and within the community. To participate in today's class, each attendee was asked to donate five food pantry items.
I helped document inventory of all items and to organize/restock the shelves.
I continued organizing the back rooms by returning items back in their proper places and creating space for new ones.
I organized the back storage room by putting any misplaced items back on the shelves and consolidating materials to reduce clutter.
Today, I assisted the wonderful ladies of The Links, Incorporated with setting up items for their giveaway event. I also helped shoppers by distributing bags and answering any questions they had.
