Had a lovely time outside in the Zilker Botanical Garden with the Austin Herb Society. I am completely new to the garden scene, so I appreciate the time they took to educate me about the plants. I was able to learn new things as well as get to play in the dirt! I helped the members put structures down for the tea hibiscus plant as it was leaning something awful. Unfortunately, during the process some of the stems snapped. On a positive, this allowed the volunteers as well as park goers to take home some buds! And the society even taught us how to make a tea with it! I have the buds with me and plan on making tea after writing this review. Picture is of the tea hibiscus I was allowed to take home with me. Looking forward to the next meeting!
