In this mini session I learned how to better navigate GivePulse and troubleshoot any issues I may have that are fixable in my end. I also learned how to find past events that I had forgotten to write an impact about, get to them and update it with an impact. Another thing I learned was how to check the status of all of my impacts and how to edit the ones that have been disputed.
The game started off pretty slow before the first half ended, we were down but then came back and the game became really competitive and we ended up winning by 5 points. Overall great experience.
In this session I learned how to navigate GivePulse a lot better, I am more comfortable adding impacts and properly signing up for events. I also learned that for an event that is through zoom you should sign up with your personal email instead of your student email to avoid any issues.

In this session I learned how to confidently utilize all main tools in the student portal. Not only did fortify how to use the resources it provides, but I learned a few different tips on how to customize my portal so it is tailored to my liking.
In the club expo I learned about the vast variety of clubs that the campus has to offer. An example would be CODE, this club allows tech savvy students to get hands on with coding languages and create anything from games to programs that may help them develop their resume in the future. Another example is Hacker space club, another club that gets the members hands on experience with an OS different from Windows.
In this Promise Scholarship orientation, I learned about the vast variety of resources available to us students not only through the promise scholarship but also around campus. Through the questions asked to alumni’s toward the end of the orientation, I learned that one of their biggest regrets was not saying “yes” to a lot of opportunities for engagement that were presented to them during their time at PGCC. That is something I plan on doing differently, to be more engaged with the college and create good connections that can help facilitate my journey at PGCC
