I attended the End of Semester meeting and was reminded to the requirements for the scholarship, as well as important due dates to keep track of (like the fall registration deadline).
I attended the C.O.D.E club's event "ACT IV - Finale". There were many snacks and people got to present their projects for the Engineering Challenge. It was great!
I attended the "M^3: Making Math Magnetic" event for STEM week. I saw many people's presentations based on different math topics (Derivatives, trigonometric functions, samples and populations, etc.). Despite being scheduled for 1-2pm, it went on past 3pm.
I attended to FEC College Student Financial Wellness mini session. I learned a lot about being financially stable. I even stayed a little after to learn a little more about stock prices.
I participated in the "Demonstrating STEM in the Workplace" event for STEM week. The presentation was clear and I liked the pictures and gifs on the slides
I attended the "Things I Wish I Knew in College" event for STEM week. While some of the points made I was familiar with, like going to teacher's office hours, some things were new to me, like student discounts besides Spotify premium.
I couldn't hear the presentation's videos because their volume was low.
I learned how to use Givepulse and how to log and keep track of my impact hours. Very clear and informative.
I went to the CODE club's ACT II - SPARK meeting. I learned more about how to participate in the engineering challenge. I might join, but not sure.
I met some colleges at the Transfer fair. Some booths, like Bowie and Towson’s, had long lines, but the others were quick and informative.
