Today I attended the virtual ReFresh session. It highlighted all the Promise Scholarship requirements for eligibility, including engagement hours, deadlines, and credit and gpa requirements. I also learned additional info regarding event hours.
The meeting confirmed what I knew about the requirements of the Promise Scholarship Program. We also learned about the dates where class registration is due and how missing these deadlines can affect scholarship funding.
This Town Hall was very interesting and engaging. We got to hear about updates around campus, such as the opening of student centers and resources coming up for finals season. We also heard speeches from SGA candidates for election.
The Town Hall was very informative. I heard updates regarding available financial resources in my area and new events happening online and in person. Prepared questions were answered clearly and there many opportunities for any new questions.
The presentation provided a lot of good advice on how to best represent yourself on a resume. One tip that stood out was to make resumes tailored to the position, notably by including relevant experience.
This presentation was really informative and shared a lot about the different degree pathways. I got to know more about which degrees are best for either transferring or employment, as well as information on the certificate programs. I found out that I’ve already taken some classes that could provide me with a certificate.
This Town Hall meeting was very informative and engaging. I liked getting to see members of the SGA and other groups introduce themselves and share updates happening around campus. Prepared questions were answered clearly and they allowed many opportunities for questions from both the event space and on the webinar.
Today I attended the “Write it Right” workshop. I learned about the many components of drafting a cover letter, such as proper formatting and how it should effectively introduce yourself to an employer.
