This GivePulse Impact focused on end-of-semester expectations and scholarship requirements. The session explained the need to complete 30 credit hours across the academic year (including fall, winter, spring, and summer), earn 15 service hours per semester, and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA to remain eligible. It also clarified the difference between academic recovery and scholarship recovery, what service hours count for each term, and how deadlines vary by semester for hours to be applied correctly. Additionally, it was explained that students may only enroll as part-time if they are graduating in the same semester. The session emphasized the requirement to attend two mini sessions during the year, and a quiz at the end of the Zoom was used to confirm attendance and understanding.
This Impact focused on how to properly add and document impacts in GIF Pulse, including understanding time duration, start times, and entering information correctly. Elio led a step-by-step walkthrough on Zoom, demonstrating how to add impacts accurately. The Zoom session started at 1:00 PM, lasted one hour, and included a quiz at the beginning to confirm attendance and understanding.
PGCC fell short to Hagerstown Community College to a very defeating loss of 9-0 and the crowd felt sour with the attempt of trying to win. Hopefully we win the next.
The PGCC Men’s Soccer team faced off against Howard Community College in a highly competitive match that ended in 2 nil. The first half was thrilling, with both teams matching each other’s intensity. It was a back and forth battle. However, in the second half, Howard managed to break through PGCC’s defense, capitalizing on key opportunities to secure two goals. #20 Chidebum held himself greatly but wasn't enough to save the whole team
