Información
Join Sharon and Kei Yarbrough for the It's My Park Day Kiddie Crew! This crew is specifically for kids and their adults to volunteer together and help our community.
The creek that runs through the park, Tannehill Branch, is full of trash. The Kiddie Crew will be removing as much trash as we can. And there will be a prize for the most "unique" item discovered!
We will meet under the double-peaked shade structure behind the Rec Center. We'll provide gloves, SOME trash grabbers (limited supply), bags and snacks. Bring a refillable water bottle!
Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for the weather; brimmed hats are always a good idea. There may be poison ivy so take precautions for that as well.
