On a rainy day, 36 people made up the Kiddie Crew in Givens Park for the 2017 It's My Park Day - Spring. We picked up dozens of bags of trash and about a dozen bags of recycleables. For the kids, we had a contest to see who could pick up the most bottle caps. With almost 3,000 bottle caps having been picked up, one family rose to the challenge to pick up 1,236 bottle caps!!

Great time cleaning the park! An amazing 1200 + bottle caps picked up by one crew.
Great experience our family of 5 participated. We picked up over 700 bottle caps, over 60 bottles, hundreds of cigarette butts, and lots of other trash. Another family picked up over 1200 bottle caps. This parks needs a lot of attention. Thank you to the organizers.
