I was given the opportunity to serve my community. The experience was very informative and life-changing for me. This event makes me want to continue to make a change, help out the community around me, and helps me to see my purpose clearly.
Working with the Renew Atlanta Corporation and Crossroads was a incredible experience. We had the priviliviage to attend a Sunday Service at The Believers House. We then compiled mutiple bagged lunches with sandwiches, chips, sweets, and encouraging notes. Finally, we went into downtown Atlanta and distributed the items to homeless individuals on the streets. I felt that I truly served the Atlanta community today. I will definitely be back to volunteer with this amazing organization!
I have had an amazing time with Crossroads. I thoroughly enjoy all my time with them and they really have been the support I needed throughout my college experience. It was a blessing to help feed my community and feed the homeless. I got to do a good deed on a day of worship!
