It was nice meeting with Mr. Cruz to understand how to navigate the app. It was nice seeing what to do and how to add my hours

In this mini session, we refreshed on how to add hours. And how to register for events. It was a great refresher on what is allowed and what is not. Overall, this was a very beneficial meeting as it was a reminder to me.

During this mini demo training on how to use GivePulse, we learned how to navigate the platform, track our service hours, search for volunteer opportunities, and submit our involvement for approval. The training helped me understand how to properly document community engagement and made sure I know how to use GivePulse and enlighten me on some the important things I forgot about Givepulse but after this session I can confidently say that this was helpful to stay organized and meet my service requirements.

Pointers about GivePulse mini session:

1. Only 2 sessions required but you can choose which one you would like to attend

2. You need to add your 15 impact hours each semester

3. A lot of events are not PGCC events, but GivePulse will promote it.

4. Don’t wait until the last minute to submit your service hours

5. Do not use WIERD names for your email.

6. You cannot use hours from previous semester to count for the current semester
