During the meeting I was able to understand the difference between all of the degrees offer at PGCC. I definitely got to learn that I’m on the right track so far but is good to know that I can get more certifications in the future.
The session was very informative. I learned that both the AA and AS degrees both are easier to transfer than the AAS degree. On the other hand most of the jobs under the AAS degree only need an associates rather than the AA and AS that need a bachelor's.
I learned about the differences between AA (Associate of Arts), AS (Associate of Science), and AAS (Associate of Applied Science) degrees and what fits my major the best.
In the "AA vs. AS vs. AAS Degrees" mini session, I learned about the A.A., A.S., and A.A.S. degrees and gained insight into which degree to pursue based on your educational and career goals. This mini session was the first time heard about an A.A.S. degree and I learned that this degree helps prepare students to directly enter the workforce through hands-on training.
I attended the Academic Wellness mini-session (AA vs AS vs AAS Degrees). All the information about each degree and transfer method was very helpful, and I could probably use this to help me transfer once I receive my associate's degree.
Very informative and I learned about new resources I can use to research Carrer options.
Today I learned about different types of degrees. Not all are the same.
