AA vs AS vs AAS Degrees (Academic Wellness - Mini-Session)

I learned a lot about the difference between AA, ASand AAS degrees, and how each one could help me for different career fields.

I enjoyed learning about the differences between AA, AS, and AAS degrees. The session helped me understand how each degree can support different educational and career goals. I also learned how choosing the right degree can help me prepare for my future career in nursing.

I learned that an AA degree is a good choice for students who want to transfer to a 4-year university. It helps students complete their basic college classes before transferring to a university to earn a bachelor's degree. I also learned that choosing the right degree can help me save time and money while working toward my goal of a career in criminal justice.

This was a very informative zoom meeting I learned a lot how how AA, AS, and AAS work. Learning that AAS is more for work after the degree and the other two are for transferring to a university. This helped me understand what my degree meant helping me better for the future.

I learned that A.A.S degrees are actually meant to prepare you for a job rather than a transfer to a four year college and that many of the credits that you earn under that degree aren't transferable.

By exploring each of these, I was able to see how and Associates of Science is personally the best option for me and my future endeavors. Another things I was able to learn was that I am able to earn my certification, while still pursuing my Associates Degree. Not only that, but the session also reminded me to consider the different pathways required for my intended field. Overall, the presentation was helpful and a great reminder.
