Jeloux @ Howard H. Baker Center for Public Policy

Being able to welcome new freshmen and returning students to the events and the working of the Baker Center was exhilarating. Having invested time into the Baker Center, I was able to represent the program of Baker Ambassadors. In addition, the new events planned, thanks to the new donation to the center, will provide even more opportunities for me and my fellow Vols for career development and civic engagement.

The event I attended what Torch Night. As a part of the SGA Senate, being able to meet the new freshman class of 2026 was great. It gave me an idea of just how big the new class is. It is also incredibly nostalgic, remembering the events for my own torch night.
