We learned about the many native and invasive grasses on the prairie and how to prepare to survey the intersects. Knowing how to identify these grasses can help restore natural habitats. We made many observations of native plants, flowers and grasses. It was a great opportunity to learn with Mrs.Kerr and Ms.Lim who were a wealth of information and it was very exciting to come across varieties of insects and wildlife as well.We spotted a Hawk carrying a snake across the prairie it was so incredibly satisfying to witness. We also learned of many butterflies as well.
