We went to the wishing place in Trumbull ct. We got a tour of the wishing place and got to see where all the magic happens! We then made cards and signs for the next wish kid to enter the wishing place. Finally, we greeted Gigi as she came to experience the wishing place for the very first time, and started to plan her wish journey.
Participate in table times for my sorority Chi Omega, working to raise money for our philanthropy Make A Wish. Worked the table in the 63's hallway and encouraged fellow students to donate to our philanthropy and attend our philanthropy event this week "Mr. Make A Wish". Not only were we telling people how to donate, but also explained where their donations were going, and how they were helping us to raise our Wish Week goal of 20,000$. This money would help 2 kids with life-threatening diseases to fulfill their wish.
Worked with the kids in the after-school program. Many kids wanted to do many different activities. There was a large variety of kids, ages, and interests. Some kids had to be doing homework for the majority of the time, while some of the younger kids couldn't get enough of the games, activities, and opportunities provided.
