I was able to work at guest services twice this week which was really nice. I loved shadowing intakes and learning more about this process and how new guests are welcomed into the community. I was able to help with an intake where a woman needed some medical assistance and luckily we got her in to see the provider in the mobile clinic. I was able to make a strong connection with her while I assisted her with filling out the required paper work and found the experience to be very meaningful.

I was able to shadow some intakes this week which was really valuable to see and start to understand this process more!

On Monday I did supply Running which went well although there seemed to be more difficulties finding exactly what the guests were looking for. On Wednesday I was able to help facilitate the beading group which was an amazing opportunity. I got to connect with so many guests on such a deep level and it was just such a positive and supportive environment that we all created.

I was able to have a great shift supply running on Monday. It's always so amazing to be able to see that someone has gotten something they needed and the services they rely on. There was luckily a lot of clothing and other supplies that I was able to get to people and I also got to make some great connections with guests.
