On Monday I did supply running which went well and I was able to find a lot of clothes that worked well for guests. It's definitely a good feeling to have the items that someone is needing and to be able to provide them with those items. On Wednesday I worked with the kids. I connected a lot with a couple of the older kids and we worked on trying to navigate conflict between siblings. It was much busier than usual which was nice to see so many sweet kids and give their moms some time to do whatever it is they needed to.

This is from a while ago but I realized I never logged it. On both Monday and Wednesday I was supply running and on Wednesday I also helped set up for the Rose Haven holiday party going on that day.

I did some holiday calls on Monday and was able to get a couple people's information down which was good and then I worked with the kids on Wednesday which was really nice.

Today I did supply running. It was great and very busy the whole time. I was able to connect with a lot of guests and provide people with things they really needed on this cold and rainy day. It has been so nice to see many more sweatpants and leggings in the basement and be able to finally fulfill those needs for the guests.

On Monday I worked at the drink table making coffee and tea for the guests. I love working here because I really get to connect with the guests. On Wednesday I worked with the kids playing with blocks. It was really cute and I love when I get to connect with the kids. After that, me and the other volunteers reorganized the kids activities toys and games to fit into the new cabinet.

On Monday I worked in donation support and sorted clothes for the shop and the dock. I was there for a while so it was nice to watch the pile of clothes go down and see all our progress. On Wednesday I started out being with the kids and then did supply running for most of the time. I'm starting to get to know a lot of the guests personally and recognize them which is nice to have that kind of relationship.

On Monday I did supply running in the morning and on Wednesday I also did supply running and some donation support. I always like to do supply running because the connection I get to have with the guests is so nice and when I am able to give someone something they really need it makes me really happy.

I worked in the clothing store and then did some restocking and donation sorting at the end of my shift.

I worked at the food table for the first time and was able to learn so much about how food and drinks are served at Rose Haven.

I had a great time doing supply running the last two Mondays and also had a shift at the clothing store which was very cool. This Monday I also did a bit of work in the kitchen doing a bunch of dishes after breakfast.
