I attended the Disney+: Vision Board experience . We used Milanote to make a digital vision board. The event was held in Lanham hall in rm 25. Around the time I went it was only 4 of us but it was really nice and relaxing, especially with the jazz music playing in the back. I would love to attend another event similar to this!

I attended the refresh session. We reviewed the academic and participation requirements for the program. We went over some specifics such as meeting with an advisor each semester, meeting the 15 hour requirement, finacial aid bookstore deadlines, etc.

I attended the End of the Semester meeting for the Promise Scholarship program. We reviewed the academic and engagement requirements. In between each topic we had a mini quiz to review the information. We discussed registration for Summer and Fall 2026. We also discussed Financial aid and rewards for the upcoming semesters as well.

I attended a workshop called : I have my Associates Degree….Now What? We discussed steps we can take after graduation as far as entering the workforce, internships and transferring to different colleges. Dr. Diana Wilkins provided us with resources for resumes, finding information on different careers and mock interviews.

I enjoyed watching the game, it was pretty hot out though. We lost unfortunately but the Owls played pretty well.

We leanred the different resources that PGCC provides for finding jobs and internships. We practiced recognizing certain resumes that were appropiate/ not appropiate when applying to jobs.

I attended the STRIVE 360 workshop: Reflections & Forecasting. We discussed what reflection means to us, we refelcted on certain habits we want to get rid of, things we want to improve, certain goals we have for the future and a few other things regarding our goals in semester.

We learned the different types of resumes, the purpose of one, how to write a resume with/without experience.

I don't really watch baseball but I admit it was a pretty good game even though we lost.
