I attended the STRIVE workshop: "THE BALANCE BLUEPRINT: TIME. WORK. LIFE." We discussed the importance of mapping out your schedule for school and work. We also made a chart where we figured out where do we spend the most of our time doing. We divided it into 3 sections, personal, school, and work. After discussing which category it is we also thought about things we can do different to make sure all categories have an equal balance. We made a schedule and list of goals to complete for the week for all 3 categories as well.

During this session I learned how to navigate the PGCC website/app. I learned where to find my financial aid, where to register for classes, look up my GPA and who to contact if the GPA widget is incorrect, etc. I feel more confident in navigating the PGCC app now. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the session.
I attended the STRIVE "MIND RIGHT, MOOD RIGHT" session. We discussed some things we do to feel better when mentally stressed, identified some emotions, practiced being a good listener, etc. This workshop made me evaluate some bad habits I have when it comes to trying to mentally relax. I really enjoyed this workshop.
I attended the STRIVE 360 workshop “BOOKED & BUSY: LEVELING UP ACADEMICALLY”. We discussed habits that we should change or adopt as a student, transferring colleges, the importance of your gpa, habits in school that help in your personal life, etc.
I attended the virtual STRIVE orientation. We discussed what the STRIVE program is, what it offers, some of the coordinators, and what we can take away from the program. STRIVE is a merge of WOW and DMSI programs.
