I attended the SMART Goals and vision board workshop hosted by the SGA. They provided scrapbooks and supplies for us to make our own vision board for the semester. It was very nice and chill

I attended the transfer event and asked questions regarding dual enrollment for nursing BSN program. I went to Towson, Morgan state, Bowie State, and Frostburg tables. I went to many other tables but cannot remember the names. The event was very informational and tremendously helped me make a decision for my education and career pathway.

I attended the Special Scholarships program refresh session. We met the staff, discussed the academic requirements, program requirements, how to use Givepulse, how to use navigate, how to withdraw from courses and disbursement. We also played kahoot while reviewing information to test our knowledge.

I joined the Strive kickoff event. We were introduced to the mentors of the group, we discussed what STRIVE is, what is it about, what we can gain from it, some student resources, events, and STRIVE academy.

I joined the Martin Luther king tribute on zoom. The guest speaker Lady Brion shared a few of her poems . She encouraged dialogue from the audience whether it was a question or a comment. I really enjoyed her powerful spoken words!

We reviewed the requirements for the PGCC Scholarship program. We were told to look for an email discussing our status in the program. After the meeting we took a quiz to test our knowledge.

In this meeting we learned how to properly use Give pulse. We were shown how to log our hours, provide a reflection, look for past events we attended using the calendar if we didn't register for the event, etc. This was a very informational session, even though I know how to use Give pulse I was able to learn a few tricks.

I attended PGCC's Basketball game v CCBC Essex. The women's basketball team put in a great effort and played really well. Unfortunately they didn't win, very good game though!

For my first basketball game it was pretty good. I attended the Men's Basketball game vs. CCBC Catonsville. I can't remember the score but we won! The boys played really good.

In this meeting we discussed how our social media accounts play a very important role in our career. We have to be mindful of the things we post and realize that everything is permanent. Our social media is our 'second resume'. We should review our accounts to see if it portrays a positive or negative side of ourselves. We did a few practice questions to judge others social media accounts to see if it's a negative or positive image of the applicant for the job.
