During this Zoom session, a lot of impactful poems were shared. One of the ones that stood out to me was the one related to incarceration, and how prisoners are used for labor, how the number of students at school is used to estimate the amount of prisons to build, etc. There was another discussion on the differences between Malcolm and Malcolm X. Through this, I learned that the two are different. I always thought they were the same. So, Malcolm is Christian and Malcolm X is Muslim; that's another thing I've learned. Overall, the Zoom meeting was very impactful, not only in telling the poems, but also in conveying and explaining the meaning behind them.

The meeting consisted of things that most of us might have forgotten. These included engagement hours, required GPA, the FAFSA, and many other requirements. During the meeting, we also got a refresher on what our status with the scholarship encompasses. So, overall, the meeting was not only informative, it also helped many of the participants in understanding requirements while allowing them room to voice their concerns.
During the Zoom session, an overview was given of the requirements for the scholarship, our majors, the FAFSA, and the graduation procedure. I also gained personal insight from the questions asked by other participants in the program, most of which were based on when the scholarship is applied and how our inability to fulfill requirements might affect us.
This Zoom meeting focused on the Sonography Bachelor's Program. This program is at UMDC. From this meeting, I learned that this program is very rigorous and intense. The class is full-time and offers students internships. In addition to this, the program requires applicants to take physics classes that are aligned with ultrasound and health science. The program requires students to get 60 credits before applying to the program. Most of the requirements of the program are related to those of the RN program at PGCC. All in all, this meeting was informative.
This event is called a virtual career fair. It's my first time doing a fair online; the instructors were very nice and very helpful. I talked to a representative from Children's National. I originally wanted to ask about their front desk job opening, but I learned that I had to have a year of customer service experience, hospital experience, or hospital volunteer experience. I didn’t know a medical front desk opening needed this many requirements. I have a lot to do to even get a job. Overall, the experience was good and informative.
This event was for an SGA Q&A. I attended online. It wasn't really the best since they gave food there and I had to watch while at home. Through my joining of this event, I learned of various opportunities presented for individuals who join the SGA. I also learned that the SGA has a course to help students in need. Overall, the event was good for the most part.
During this demonstration session, I learned the ways to enter my hours and how to verify my attendance at the event. Some events need proof of attendance. But overall, the event was intuitive.
During this event, I got to see new faces, and I got to water lots of plants. The tomatoes we harvested were very sweet, too. One thing I especially liked was the harvesting part. Overall, the event was nice, apart from the fact that I almost got lost.
